Can A Christian Reject the Church?
Can someone be “saved” and walk away from the Church for good? These are questions that we all may have asked, and we all know people who have lived out this reality. The texts that I refer to this video are: Hebrews 10:25 – 27, 1 John 2:19, 2 Timothy 2:11 – 13, John 6:53 – 69.
Please know that I don’t approach this topic lightly; I’ve been in ministry for over thirteen years now, and have seen hundreds pray a prayer, get dunked in water, hang out with the Church for awhile, then get upset with something or have life get rough. . .then, walk away. How do we view that? I personally have friends, loved ones, and family that share this story. So, what the Bible says is both simultaneously heartbreaking and encouraging.
